VBS Fun Day On Sunday, July 27th following the completion of the week’s VBS activities, a potluck dinner was served. After the potluck, the VBS Fun Day commenced outside. Activities included water games, three-legged races, tractor trailer rides, and a race car show. Cotton candy and shaved ice were served. The kids (and adults) had a great time. |

Vacation Bible School From July 21 - 25 children participated in VBS with the theme “Custom Garage - Loving God and Serving Others.” A combination of a video series and live acting / story telling by Jackie R was enjoyed by the children. Children also enjoyed outdoor activities, crafts, and snacks. Throughout the week, children raised money for a Nazarene missions project. |

One Man Theatrical Show On the evening of July 27, Paul R. shared two biblical skits with the congregation. The first skit was a portrayal of Moses, the second of Sampson and Delilah with Paul playing both roles. Paul finished the evening by singing several songs. It was a fun, unique evening with a great message! |

Cowboy Reflections On the evening of August 10th Dan S. shared cowboy poetry and songs from a Christian perspective. Following the poetry and songs all in attendance enjoyed some cowboy stew, corn bread, and home-made rolls served by Cookie (Joyce S.) Cowboys of all ages enjoyed an old-fashioned cowboy worship service. |

Boating The Beatrice Church of the Nazarene recently had a fun day at the lake, complete with boating, tubing, and fishing. It was a beautiful day and everyone enjoyed themselves. |

100th Anniversary Celebration On Sunday, September 28 the Beatrice Church of the Nazarene Celebrated the 100 year anniversary of the denomination. Approximately 110 people heard the music of song evangelist Terry Campbell while enjoying sloppy joes, chips, baked beans, scalloped potatoes, a variety of desserts (such as the cake provided by Hazel), and beverages. All ages of people enjoyed hayrack rides on two different tractors. At 3:30 that afternoon there was a motorcycle run. |
